Synopsis

Four weeks after the League of Villains’ attempt to assassinate All Might, the students of Class 1-A return to USJ to complete their disaster training. However, unbeknownst to the heroes-in-training, an unexpected foe is lurking within the facility’s walls and waiting to strike… The second OVA is the story about a joint practice session between Izuku’s class and Isami High students at Yuuei Academy takes place after the field training arc in the second season.

Overview

“Save! Rescue Training” (救え!救助訓練! Sukue! Kyūjo Kunren!) is a Jump Festa 2016 special episode and the first OVA for the My Hero Academia series.

“Training of the Dead” is an OVA bundled with Volume 14 of My Hero Academia. It is the second OVA to be released for the series.

TL;DR Review

My Hero Academia first OVA, “Save! Rescue Training” took place right after the first season. The 1-A class continue with their rescue exercise and demonstrated their teamwork when they found a villain may still be on the training ground.

The second OVA, “Training of the Dead”, is a team survival training that went horribly wrong when most of the 1-A class got turned into Zombie.

The animation is on par with the TV series’.

These are essentially filler episodes for My Hero Academia, but they are quite entertaining. You may not enjoy this as much if you have not seen the TV show.

I recommend the OVA to the fan of the series. The anime contains moderate graphic violence and mild suggestive themes/dialogs. Intended for young adults.

Most people discriminate him due to his plain physical appearance and some accuse him of being a counterfeit hero. Only a small number of individuals recognize his incredible talent and humility towards others.
