One Piece’s The Cursed Holy Sword is the fifth movie in the franchise. Unlike the first four movies, no new crew member was added. This movie focuses on Zoro more than the rest of the crew. This movie tries to pull on our heart string like all the other, but it just fell flat. I didn’t really care that much for any of the extra characters in the movie. The story of Zoro’s long lost friend and promise feel very contrived. This movie had more slapstick scenes than normal and very little fight scenes at the end. It was a whole lot of talking and talking of backstory. It was a bit boring, to be honest. All the villains feel rather weak compared to the previous movies.
I would say skip The Cursed Holy Sword movie unless you feel you need to watch everything One Piece. One Piece contains strong graphic violence and moderate suggestive themes/dialogs.
