Beginners’ Badminton Session | PowerSmash, Pattoor, Trivandrum

Shuttle Tribe is hosting the Beginners’ Badminton Session at PowerSmash, Pattoor, Trivandrum, on Saturday, 17 October 2026. Organized for people who are new to badminton, this beginner-friendly session offers an opportunity to learn the basics of the sport, become comfortable on the court, and meet fellow badminton enthusiasts in an inclusive community setting.

Participants will learn basic serves, footwork and movement, and fundamental badminton shots, including forehand, backhand, clears, drops, and net shots. The session will also cover court positions, boundaries, scoring, rules, singles and doubles basics, player rotations, and teamwork. Fun mini-games and practice matches will allow participants to put their learning into practice.

The session runs from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. No prior badminton experience is required. Participation is limited to the first 14 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. The court fee is ₹100 per person.
