Ashtamudi Water Gate Music Festival | Sree Narayana Guru Cultural Complex, Asramam, Kollam

Ashtamudi Water Gate Music Festival, Chapter 1, is a five-day music festival celebrating Kollam’s natural beauty, cultural heritage, and musical diversity. Held as part of the Kerala Government’s 100-Day Action Plan and organized by the Departments of Culture and Tourism, the festival brings music to the Sree Narayana Guru Cultural Complex in Kollam.

Based on the theme “Musical Ecology, Water,” the festival will feature artists and groups from across India, including Manganiyar Seduction, Indian Ocean, Hamsi & Band, Shanka Tribe, and Araka Vyooham. The programme aims to create a cultural space connecting Ashtamudi’s waterways with music while strengthening the Sree Narayana Guru Cultural Complex as a major cultural centre in Kollam.

Music-related films will also be screened daily from 3 PM to 4 PM under the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, while the concerts will begin at 7 PM daily.
