TATA WPL 2027 Player Auction | Grand Hyatt Kochi, Kerala

The TATA Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2027 Player Auction will take place on 28 October 2026 at the Grand Hyatt Kochi in Kochi, Kerala. The fifth edition of the TATA WPL is scheduled from 14 January to 7 February 2027. The auction will bring together the league’s five franchises as they complete and strengthen their squads for the upcoming season.

The five competing franchises are Delhi Capitals (DC), Gujarat Giants (GG), Mumbai Indians (MI), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and UP Warriorz (UPW). The player retention period concluded on 28 September 2026, with 63 players, including 23 overseas players, retained across the five teams. A total of 27 player slots, including seven overseas slots, remain available ahead of the auction.

Delhi Capitals retained Annabel Sutherland, Chinelle Henry, Deeya Yadav, Jemimah Rodriguez, Laura Wolvaardt, Lucy Hamilton, Mamatha Madiwala, Marizanne Kapp, Minnu Mani, N Sree Charani, Nandni Sharma, Niki Prasad and Shafali Verma.

Gujarat Giants retained Anushka Sharma, Ashleigh Gardner, Beth Mooney, Bharti Fulmali, Georgia Wareham, Happy Kumari, Jintimani Kalita, Kanika Ahuja, Kashvee Gautam, Kim Garth, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Renuka Singh, Sophie Devine, Tanuja Kanwer and Yastika Bhatia.

Mumbai Indians retained Amanjot Kaur, Amelia Kerr, Harmanpreet Kaur, Hayley Matthews, Natalie Sciver Brunt, Nicola Carey, Rahila Firdous, Sajeevan Sajana, Sanskriti Gupta, Shabnim Ismail and Vaishnavi Sharma.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru retained Arundhati Reddy, Ellyse Perry, Georgia Voll, Lauren Bell, Nadine De Klerk, Pooja Vastrakar, Prathyoosha Kumar, Prema Rawat, Radha Yadav, Richa Ghosh, Sayali Satghare, Shreyanka Patil and Smriti Mandhana.

UP Warriorz retained Deepti Sharma, Harleen Deol, Kranti Gaud, Meg Lanning, Phoebe Litchfield, Pratika Rawal, Shikha Pandey, Shipra Giri, Simran Shaikh, Sophie Ecclestone and Tara Norris. UP Warriorz will enter the auction with a maximum purse of INR 3.65 crore.
